Point EverythingBox at the files you already have.
Files stay where they are
EverythingBox scans folders in place. It does not rename your files, move them, or reorganise them into a structure of its choosing. If you stop using the app, your library is exactly as you left it.
Point it at your folders
In settings, add the folders holding your video, music, audiobooks, books, comics and games. The app scans them and builds a library, matching entries against catalog metadata so a directory of filenames becomes something you can browse by cover.
Games
ROMs live in your ROMs folder. The app identifies the system from the file, then loads the right core — downloading it if you do not have it yet.
For modern consoles the app instead installs the established standalone emulator from its own official source and launches your game with it. See Emulation for the full list of systems and which route each one takes.
Nothing plays without the file. A game that shows in the library with a Download button rather than Play is a catalog entry whose ROM is not on this machine yet.
PC games you already own
Installed titles from Steam, Epic, GOG and Battle.net can be imported so they appear beside everything else and launch from the same interface.
